Terms and Conditions

Agreement
A signed project booking form detailing project requirements must be signed by the Client before any work is undertaken by Sterling Transcription Services Ltd. All incoming emails, attachments and disks will be scanned for viruses.

Payment
Invoices will be issued once assignment is complete unless otherwise agreed between Sterling Transcription Services Ltd and the Client.  Payment must be made within 28 days of date of invoice, Sterling Transcription Services Ltd reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 5% per month on the outstanding balance from the date of the invoice until payment is made.   In the unfortunate event of a cheque from a Client being refused by the bank, the Client will be held responsible for all bank charges resulting from the returned cheque. 

Confidentiality & Security
We realise the importance of keeping information about you and User content confidential, therefore, all staff sign a confidentiality agreement which can be viewed upon request. We will delete any information stored on your Company after completion of any contracts, unless otherwise requested for reference or future assignments.

Responsibility
Sterling Transcription Services Ltd cannot be held liable for damage to any media supplied by the customer either in our possession or during transit.  If full instructions are not given or changes made clear to Sterling Transcription Services Ltd, no responsibility can be taken for such discrepancies if these are not made clear prior or during work on the project.  All incoming emails, discs, CDs or other media will be scanned for viruses.  Sterling Transcription Services Ltd will not open unsolicited email attachments which do not have an accompanying explanatory message.

Amendments
We reserve the right to alter turnaround times and prices quoted should there be a change in the project, however, the Client will be notified of this before.

Final proofreading remains the responsibility of the Client, however, any errors can be rectified free of charge if returned to us within 72 hours. 

Complaints
Sterling Transcription Services Ltd strive to offer a professional, quality service, however, in the unlikely event that you have a complaint, the Client should communicate it to Sterling Transcription Services Ltd via email or letter.  All complaints will be thoroughly investigated.
